About

I'm Saulo Valdivia — a QA engineer reskilling into an AI-native SDET. This blog is where I log that journey in public: the QA experiments I run, my takes on where testing is going (the harness era, agents-as-quality-engineers), and what I'm learning along the way.

It's first-person, opinionated craft writing — evidence before opinion. I publish when a finding lands, not on a forced calendar, with a floor of one substantive post a month.

The content is general and portable — drawn from my whole career, never any employer's proprietary work.

How this blog is made

This blog is co-created with AI, and that's deliberate — not a confession buried in a footer. I draft with an AI agent and edit by hand, because I believe the shift to AI is the new way of doing most things, and the honest move is to write the same way I work. The machine does the production; I do the judgment. The experiments, the code, and the loops I show you are real, and the calls about what they mean are mine.
